Dave Armstrong Race Announcing!

For 26 years, Dave Armstrong has been doing pre-race announcements, start instructions and commands, mid-race leader updates, announcing of names as runners cross the finish line, and emceeing award ceremonies. Kona Running Company

Kona Running Company is the organizer of the ShamRock 'n' Roll Run, Solstice Run and Wicked Halloween Run events. We donate funds to local charitable organizations. Alan Whitehead founded the Solstice Run race event in 2003 held in Northville, MI and the Wicked Halloween Run in 2011 & ShamRock 'n' Roll Run in 2012 both held in Plymouth, MI. Alan was on the Race Staff at the Detroit Free Press Marathon for three years and the Race Director of the Parade Company's annual Detroit Turkey Trot for two years.
