| Address Allen Park Presbyterian Church 7101 Park Ave. Allen Park, MI Brief Description Join us on Saturday, August 4, 2012 for this Downriver tradition in our 36th year! USATF certified 10K and 5K fast, flat loop courses. Kids fun run 1 mile is free, with ribbons to all who participate, but no shirt. After the race enjoy tasty "breakfast" pizza, fruit, and a raffle with a chance to win items donated from our main sponsor, the Detroit Lions. Kids fun run starts at 8:30 a.m., and the 10K and 5K to follow at 9:00 a.m. All races start and finish on Park Avenue, at Cleveland Street, in downtown Allen Park. Awards in both races to Overall Male & Female, Overall Master Male & Female, Overall Grand Master Male & Female and Overall Male & Female 18 & Under, as well as awards to top 3 males and females in each age group. A quality t-shirt provided to all who pre-register. $20 entry fee before July 29, online, by mail, or at the Total Runner store in Southgate. $25 entry fee July 30 through August 3 online and at Total Runner, with packet pick up. $30 entry fee on race day after 7:00 a.m. at Allen Park Presbyterian Church, located near the start location. Please note that packet pick up at Total Runner is NOT available for ONLINE entries received after July 29th. Stay and enjoy the Allen Park Street Art Fair after the race. |
